The PADI OWD course consists of three parts: theory part, pool training and open water dives. You can study the theories in class or as an online course. Since we live in Finland, we also teach the open water parts of the basic diving course in a dry suit. A drysuit provides comfort in cold waters, and when we learn to use it well from the beginning, we no longer want to dive into the Baltic Sea with others. If you want to take the open water part of the PADI OWD course abroad, take the Open Water Diver Referral course in Finland. You can study the theories as an online course and complete the open water dives abroad following the pool exercises. The theory part covers information about equipment and the effect of pressure on the diver's physiology, and the course includes a theory test.
