These order and terms of use apply to Arctic Divers Dive Center Oy's online store. By ordering products from the online store, the subscriber accepts these terms and the prices of the products. The subscriber is responsible for the use of his own bank ID and password and for their careful storage.
In its online store, Arctic Divers Dive Center Oy sells e.g. diving courses and experiments, gift cards and equipment maintenance. Product prices include VAT.

Ordering
The products to be ordered are selected from Arctic Divers Dive Center Oy's website by adding them to the shopping cart. The order is paid for by going to the Cashier view of the Shopping Cart. When ordering, the subscriber must fill in his / her information in the contact form, to which the subscriber undertakes to provide the correct information. After ordering the products, a binding order confirmation will be sent to the e-mail provided by the subscriber with information about the ordered products and their prices.
Payment methods
Arctic Divers Dive Center Oy's online store uses the Visma Pay online payment service offered by Visma Payments Oy (Business ID 2486559-4). The following payment methods are available: Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, Oma Säästöpankki, Säästöpankki, Aktia, Local Cooperative Banks, S-Bank, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken, MobilePay, Masterpass, Pivo, Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Debit MasterCard cards, as well as Flexibility, Fellow Invoice and Fellow Business Invoice.
MobilePay: You can pay with your MobilePay wallet if you have allowed online payments to pay for the application settings. Payments made with MobilePay will be charged to the debit card attached to the wallet. If the debit of the payment card fails, it will not be possible to pay with the MobilePay wallet in the online store.
The transaction is created between the customer of the online store and the online store. The online store is responsible for all obligations related to the store.

In addition to the online banking fee, the payment methods are sports benefits or bank transfer.
Sports benefits: EPASSI, EDENRED, TYKY AND SMARTUM.
The exercise benefit is personal. It can only be used to pay for purchases made with your own username, not as gifts.
The sports benefit fee is non-refundable. In case of cancellation, the person who has made the sports benefit payment cannot receive a refund in cash, but the payment can be used for another service or product offered by Arctic Divers Dive Center Oy. This is based on the terms of use of the exercise benefit.
Exercise benefit (network): The sports benefit payment can be made as an online payment through the sports benefit company's website. Payment will be made to Arctic Divers Dive Center Oy.
Sports benefit (banknotes): Exercise vouchers can only be sent by post, in which case the subscriber pays for the postage himself. Arctic Divers Dive Center Oy is not responsible for lost mail. If desired, the subscriber can send the banknotes as a mail-insured item, in which case the subscriber pays the postage himself. The subscriber must send an e-mail to info@arcticdivers.fi before sending the banknotes, in which case the subscriber will receive a return address as a return message.
Bank transfer (Bank transfer, SEPA payment)
If bank transfer is selected as the payment method, the subscriber will receive the account information in the e-commerce order confirmation and can make a payment to the account. If the purchase is a course registration, participation will only be confirmed when the transfer fee has been processed.
Delivery method and delivery time
Online payment (Visma Pay): The subscriber will automatically receive the information needed to use the product after payment.
Sports benefit or bank transfer: The subscriber will receive the information necessary to use the product within a reasonable time after the payment has been registered. Payments are usually processed on weekdays. There may be occasional unannounced delays in processing payments.
Right of cancellation
Cancellation: Online courses and recordings
Ordered the product has no right of withdrawal, because it is a digital product that the customer can use immediately. According to the Consumer Protection Act, the consumer does not have the right to cancel the purchase of a digital product after the company has started delivering the digital product. By placing an order, you accept that the right to cancel expires at the same time as the payment is made. If you do not accept these conditions, the purchase of the products must be stopped.
Cancellation: Other services and products
Digital products or leisure services (e.g. equipment rental, sports events, hobby courses) do not have the right of cancellation, see previous point "Cancellation: Online courses and recordings". For other services, the right to cancel is detailed in the product description.
Company disclaimer
Arctic Divers Dive Center Oy is not responsible if the server, network or internet interface does not work, if a single live-stream lesson or recording has exceptional technical problems, if the subscriber is unable to download materials, or if the materials are downloaded slowly.
Arctic Divers Dive Center is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury that may occur during diving courses or excursions.
Diving insurance
Arctic Divers Dive Center divers and students of the basic diving course PADI Open Water Diver receive DAN insurance, which is included in the price of the course. Others must have a valid insurance suitable for diving. We recommend that all participants get their own DAN diving insurance. This insurance enables a safe and protected diving experience. You can get a comprehensive DAN diving insurance by following link and selecting its annual validity. Sport membership is an excellent choice for recreational divers.
Diving courses and excursions
- All courses and excursions are subject to availability.
- The participant must be physically able to dive.
- The participant must present a valid diving license, unless otherwise agreed.
Before participating in the activity, the customer undertakes to fill out health clearance and liability release forms either online in connection with the online learning materials or after receiving them from the diving center.
The cost of diving courses
Diving courses do not cover transportation to diving sites, parking costs if normal-sized equipment does not fit, possible costs of a health survey or meals and drinks.
If the equipment or part of the equipment is broken or lost while the customer is using it, the customer is liable for compensation. Normal wear and tear is not charged to the customer.
Minors
Customers under the age of 18 must have the guardian's consent, and the guardian is responsible for the order placed and compliance with the terms.
Additional practice sessions
The basic course lasts 5 days by default - three pool shifts, two open water days. If necessary, the course can be completed faster. The courses are progressed at the student's pace, however, so that if the course takes more than five days, or if the course is interrupted so that additional practice sessions are needed, the price is €40 per additional practice day. In connection with other courses, an additional practice day costs €40/practice session.
Cancellation of participation
Participation in a diving trial, Workshop or ReActivate day can be canceled without a medical certificate 24 hours before the event without cancellation costs. Otherwise, full price will be charged.
If it is a course, €40 will be charged for a diving session canceled late.
Consent to the processing of your personal data
In connection with the order, the subscriber accepts that Arctic Divers Dive Center Oy can use the subscriber's personal data to process the order in accordance with the privacy statement. See the Data Protection Statement according to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). here.
