Tuulia’s diving story began in the warm tropical waters of Asia in 2011, where her passion for the underwater world flourished over the years.
By 2017, she had earned her Divemaster certification, spending two more years soaking up those sun-drenched seas and honing her skills in paradise conditions.
In 2019, Tuulia made a dramatic change — swapping the tropics for Finland’s cold and challenging waters, where she completed her instructor training and has been actively teaching ever since.
Her journey is a powerful example of how diving can take you in unexpected directions. From crystal-clear tropical visibility to dark Finnish lakes and icy conditions, Tuulia embraced every challenge and found a new kind of beauty beneath the Nordic surface. In this episode, she shares what drove her to make the leap — and why she wouldn’t change a thing.
